RAISE Community Arts is a welcoming creative hub for people of all ages who want to explore the joy of making, learning and connecting through the arts. Alongside our vibrant programme of arts, craft and creative wellbeing classes, we also provide a wide range of rooms for hire, which enables us to keep many of our creative opportunities affordable and accessible for the community. Our flexible hire spaces include specialist studios for dance, drama, art and music, as well as multi-purpose rooms suitable for groups, clubs, meetings, rehearsals and private teaching. Spaces are available during term time, as well as evenings and Saturdays, and are utilized by a diverse range of local organisations and independent providers. We’re passionate about supporting local creativity and regularly showcase work within our exhibition spaces, providing opportunities for artists to sell handmade items, and host creative events and performance platforms, including open mic nights and community-led activities. Our café space is a popular place to sit, chat and enjoy homemade treats and barista coffee, whether you’re attending a class, meeting friends, or hiring a room.
